Q2 reports that Vice President Mike Pence is coming to Billings July 24th to campaign for GOP Senate candidate Matt Rosendale. Pence last came to Billings in May of 2017 to support Republican Greg Gianforte’s congressional campaign. A Rosendale campaign spokesperson confirmed the visit Thursday, stating [quote] “The Trump administration has made it clear that they’re all in for Matt Rosendale and we’re excited to have Vice President Mike Pence back out to Montana,” [end quote] but few details as to the time or location of the Billings rally were released. A flyer announcing the event indicated Pence will appear at a $10,000-per-couple fundraiser, which includes a roundtable discussion, photo and reception tickets. In addition, the VP is scheduled to attend a public event for America First Policies and speak on the impact of the Trump administration’s tax-cut plan.
