BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — A Three Forks man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a developmentally disabled man in a city park in June 2012.

The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/1hAbL9N ) 78-year-old Reynold Edward Benusa pleaded guilty Tuesday to felony sexual intercourse without consent during a video conference court appearance from the Montana State Hospital in Warm Springs.

Benusa told District Judge Holly Brown that he knew what he did was wrong, but that he was overcome with lust.

Benusa was jailed in Gallatin County on $50,000 bail until December, when he was moved to the state hospital. He will remain there until his sentencing on May 13.

Defense attorney Andy Breuner says he will ask the judge to consider mental disease as a contributing factor and that Benusa be sentenced to the supervision of the state health department.
