The Gaffe Gene – Opinions From E. Curtis Johnson [OPINION]

2016 will be a big political year. I’m also hoping for a gaffe fest. VP Joe Biden hasn’t announced whether he’s running for president. However, his son, Beau Biden, is currently Delaware’s Attorney General. NBC News reports that Beau announced he’s running for Governor of Delaware in 2016. I presume that the nut doesn’t fall too far from the tree.

Both Biden’s on the campaign trail could entertain us for months. However, I shouldn’t count my chickens before they’re hatched, or in the case of the Biden’s, my eggs before they’re cracked. Let’s hope the Biden gene pool is as shallow as the Veep’s speech at the Boston Marathon commemoration, so we can look back on the 2016 campaign and say, “It was worth….it was worth it.”
