The Billings Nun Beater Pleads Not Guilty
A brutal crime happened in Billings last month that involved the beating of two nuns. Both were hospitalized. The beatings were part of a home invasion in which credit cards were stolen and another home invasion shortly before the 3 a.m. attack of the Nuns on Gregory Drive in Billings.
It is hard to imagine that Sister Mary Maronick, 90 years old and 79 year old Clara Sherr went through approximately 45 minutes of a beating while the assailants ransacked the home for valuables.
An image was captured shortly after the home invasion of two individuals using the ATM that was stolen. One suspect was arrested a few days later driving the stolen car he stole from the residence of separate home invasion.
Today, September 5, Christopher Pine pleaded not guilty,
to two felony counts of aggravated burglary and one misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Pine’s bond has been set at $250,000. There are other suspects being investigated.
