Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) offered some good advice to fellow Montana Democrat Steve Bullock, who is complaining about not qualifying for the presidential primary debate due to his zero percent polling. Tester basically told Bullock to put on his big boy pants.
Montana Gov. Steve Bullock and U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts were the only major candidates out of the two dozen Democratic hopefuls who failed to meet the polling or grassroots fundraising measures required to get a debate spot.

Make no mistake: this wasn't merely a rejection of former Commissioner of Political Practices Jon Motl, this was a rejection of Gov. Steve Bullock by the normally very liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Former Obama campaign manager Jim Messina, who was the longtime chief of staff to former Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT), spoke to Yellowstone County Democrats over the weekend. During an interview with KTQV's Zoe Zandora, Messina said he is staying out of the Democrat primary battle for president in 2020. Here's the video:
