Now Democrats are trying to make those benefits a standard part of Medicare under massive legislation expected later this year to advance President Joe Biden’s domestic agenda.
The case against Trandahl began when a former client said that rather than counseling her, Trandahl talked about her own family issues and her efforts to regain custody of her children.
The plan is contingent on approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and is part of an existing Department of Public Health and Human Services federal waiver.
The state will not recognize the “fictional liabilities associated with the Medicaid program,” said Raph Graybill, Gov. Steve Bullock’s chief of staff.
