Sure Miss the Day of the $5 Speeding Tickets in Montana

It kind of cracked me up when I saw how much response I got to my last blog on the new 80 mph speed limit in parts of Montana.

I even got a call from a lady who suggested that I just quit speeding. Thanks.

No, it doesn't bother me to get a ticket when I'm breaking traffic laws on purpose. Nothing is wrong with going 80 mph. People have been doing it longer than I've been around.

What I'm interested in seeing is the reaction people have when they find out about how their fines have doubled.

Sure do miss the days of the $5 ticket on Montana highways.
