State agencies throughout Montana are getting federal help to combat the opioid crisis. The Department of Justice awarded the money to the agencies yesterday with the largest chunk going to the state Department of Corrections, Crime Control Bureau. The remainder of the five-million dollars will be split between six other agencies, including 750-thousand dollars for the Confederate Salish and Kootenai Tribes.
