Smoky smog filled Billings skies by late afternoon Wednesday. Along with the smoke, warmer temperatures also returned to Billings. People braved the smoke and were spotted walking and bicycling outdoors. More smoky skies could be coming as the farther east you go on Interstate 90, there are reports of thicker smoke. The Montana Department of Environmental Quality issued an air quality alert for the entire state on Monday.
