Shots were fired in Billings on Sunday night.  A man was transported to the hospital and will likely face charges after he allegedly fired the gunshots during a domestic dispute.  KTVQ.com reports that police were dispatched to a home on Elaine Street in the Billings Heights around 10:15 p.m.  More than a dozen patrol cars responded, according to witnesses.

Billings Police said the man was fighting with a woman at the home and began firing shots in the presence of children.  The three kids, age 13 to 18, were not hurt.  The gunman’s lower leg was injured in the altercation, but it’s not clear how it occurred or his condition.  The man was transported to the hospital and will likely face several charges of partner or family member assault.  He was not identified but is described as being in his 50s.
