Mayor Bloomberg, the dullest knife in the drawer should never show up to a gunfight, but I digress. Bloomberg’s spending spree is symptomatic of a huge problem in America. The Koch brothers, the NRA, The AFL-CIO, moveon.org, and legions of other lobbyists buy political influence.

According to Fox News, speaking of his fight against guns, smoking, and obesity, Bloomberg said, “When I get to Heaven, I am headed straight in. I have earned my place in Heaven!” I have bad news for Mayor Bloomberg. As a Led Zeppelin fan, I know someone already bought the stairway to heaven. As a believer, I know God doesn’t sell entrance to Heaven like Washington, D.C. sells admission to political influence.
