Religious Freedom Bus Tour in Billings

A bus tour calling for religious freedom made its way through Billings this weekend. MTN News reports the Family Research Council’s Action Bus tour made stops at Beartooth Harley Davidson and Yellowstone Christian College, passing out voter guides offering opinions on candidates’ lives, families and religious freedom, while advocating limited government. Family Research Council President Tony Perkins is a member of President Donald Trump’s International Commission on Religious Freedom. The Family Research Council has been linked to the Colorado-based Family Research Institute, designated by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a hate group. The FRC has made demonstrably false claims about the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities based on discredited research, according to scientific peer review.
