I’ve noticed several articles recently about women bucking societal norms by wearing colostomy bags with swimwear. The new Miss Idaho, Sierra Anne Sandison, wore an insulin pump on her swimsuit. Sandison was inspired by Nicole Johnson, Miss America 1999, who also has diabetes and rightfully and unashamedly wore an insulin pump in competition.

Women are often subjected to sexist double standards about what is and what isn’t beautiful. Let’s get real America. If we’re not creeped-out by women wearing eyeglasses, why are we bothered by another medical device? Lest any guy try to revoke my “man-card,” there is one current female beauty fad that must stop – immediately: exaggerated painted on eyebrows. Ladies, using enormous stencils to apply obviously fake eyebrows makes you look like you have traffic arrows on your forehead. Gigantic painted eyebrows are ratchet, not beautiful.

I’m E. Curtis Johnson. Since turn about is fair play, ladies, does this rant make my head look fat?
