Yellowstone County elected officials can expect a 2 percent raise for fiscal year 2018.  The Billings Gazette reports that county commissioners unanimously approved the salary increases this week based on recommendations from the Yellowstone County Compensation Board.  The board, composed of the three commissioners, other elected officials and two members of the public, held public hearings on the issue.  The commission is required by law to set salaries for elected officials by Aug. 1.
