NRA Brings Out the Big Guns for Matt Rosendale

The National Rifle Association is bringing out the big guns to support Matt Rosendale in Montana's US Senate race. Rosendale is Montana's State Auditor and Republican US Senate candidate challenging liberal Democrat Senator Jon Tester (D-MT).

The Washington Free Beacon reports that the NRA is launching a six-figure TV ad buy in the Big sky state targeting Tester for his anti-gun record.

"Contrary to what Jon Tester says in Montana, he has supported the gun-control agenda of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer by voting in favor of gun control in Washington, D.C.," Chris Cox, executive director of the institute, said in a statement. "Montana gun owners deserve a trustworthy, consistent advocate for their Second Amendment freedoms. Jon Tester cannot be trusted to stand with President Trump and support our fundamental right to self-defense."
