Montana Television Network stations across the state, including KTVQ in Billings, have now raised nearly $92 thousand as part of their Montana Wildfire Relief Fund.  MTN has pledged to match the first $50,000 of that total.  The fundraising drive caught the attention of Home Depot co-founder, Atlanta Falcons and Mountain Sky Ranch owner Arthur Blank.

On Friday, the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation announced an additional $50,000 match.  MTN stations and the Montana Community Foundation launched the unprecedented fundraising campaign on Tuesday, September 12th. Through their websites, MTN stations are directing donors to the Montana Community Foundation donation page, and donors are assured their contributions stay in Montana.  In addition, MTN has dedicated substantial news time and on-air promotion.  This Saturday, September 23, MTN will air a one-hour program to shed more light on the 2017 fire season.
