Motorist Transported to Hospital with Burn Injuries Following Car Fire
A car fire Monday afternoon sent the occupant to a local hospital with moderate burn injuries, according to a Billings Fire Department Fire Investigation Media Release.
Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire at 1649 Main St. at 2:14 p.m. An accumulation of canned air in the vehicle's passenger compartment ignited causing a fuel/air explosion.
The fire scorched the interior of the vehicle and dislodged the doors of the vehicle.
Damage was estimated at $5,000.
