A new 2018 study released Wednesday, produced by the Annie E. Casey Foundation for data-based public policy, states that high rates of suicide and fatal crashes have led Montana to receive one of the worst child health rankings in the nation, based on 16 indicators of economic well-being, education, health, family and community. The state profiles in the study relied mainly on the most recent statistics from 2016.
