A Missoula hair stylist, Tracy Scott Pray, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with felony sexual abuse of children.

Chief Deputy Missoula County Attorney Jennifer Clark said a local police detective became aware of Pray when he allegedly placed a personal ad on Craigslist.

"Mr. Pray had posted an ad on Craigslist on August 8th," Clark said. "Detective Chris Shermer came across that ad on August 20th, which was requesting sexual acts under the men with men category. Detective Shermer responded to the ad and began communicating with this male. In the ad, Pray communicated that he was looking for young to older."

Shermer continued the communication with Pray online.

"Detective Shermer indicated that he was 14 years old and a freshman in high school, and the male continued to discuss sexual acts with him, and yesterday, agreed to meet with Detective Shermer, when he was arrested and taken into custody."

Pray was placed in the Missoula County Jail, where he was released on $10,000 bond. He appeared with an attorney in Missoula Justice Court on Wednesday afternoon, where bond was continued at $10,000.

Felony sexual abuse of children carries a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $10,000 fine.
