Messina: “Pollsters Should Be Shot”
Jim Messina is back in the news.
He was the chief of staff to former US Senator Max Baucus (D-MT), and the campaign manager for President Barack Obama.
Apparently he was on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Friday (sorry, I missed it) and at least one of his remarks is already raising eyebrows.
As Fox News reports:
Messina spoke about the irrelevance of public polls so early in an election year, Mediaite reported.
"Joe, you know how I feel about public polls," he said. "I think all public pollsters should be shot.”
I guess we will soon see a Billings Gazette editorial calling out Messina for a call to violence.
The Washington Times notes Scarborough's "nervous laughter."
