Man Jailed for Harassment

A man appeared in court after he was arrested for continually harassing a woman who had an order of protection against him. She said that 37-year-old Tyler Brent posted nude photos and videos of her online.  Brent appeared Monday in Yellowstone County Justice Court and was charged with felony stalking and misdemeanor use of a communication device to harass.  He was held in jail in place of a $12,000 bond and ordered to submit to GPS monitoring.
The harassment continued after Brent was served with an order of protection on Dec. 1, according to court documents.  The order was valid through Dec. 13 and specified Brent was not allowed to be within 1,500 feet of the unidentified woman.  She called police on Wednesday, Dec. 7 when Brent sent her vulgar text messages.  He continued to text the woman and posted nude photos and videos of her on Facebook.
