A man driving a pickup truck was hospitalized after a rollover crash that occurred after he struck the rear of a semitrailer on Interstate 90 on Wednesday night, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.  The crash occurred near mile marker 445 at about 9:40 p.m.
The driver of the semi had pulled off the road in order to repair a tire, but had yet to set up flags when a man driving a Ford F-150 struck the rear of the semi, causing the pickup to roll an unknown number of times before landing on its wheels on the road.  The force of the collision separated part of the front of the F-150’s body from the vehicle, according to Trooper Griffin Sutherland.  Damage to the pickup prevented the driver from exiting his vehicle and he had to be extricated.  He was taken to Billings Clinic.  The extent of his injuries was unknown.
