If it was good enough for John, why wouldn't it be good enough for Gina?  Looks like Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) has some #mansplaining to do.

Earlier this week Tester said he would be voting against the first woman ever nominated to be the Director of the CIA because he is "not a fan of waterboarding."  OK, if that were a principled stand I think folks would agree to disagree with his decision. Here's the problem: Tester voted for John Brennan, Obama's pick to serve as CIA Director, even though Brennan was in a much more senior position at the CIA when the waterboarding occurred.

Here's a Politico profile piece from 2014 describing Brennan's "zigzag on torture."

Meanwhile, as Tester opposes Gina Haspel for CIA Director- Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) says he is supporting her. On Fox News with Neil Cavuto, Manchin describes her as "the real deal...the best...a role model."

So it was OK for John, but not for Gina? After ticking off veterans in Montana for the way he treated Admiral Ronny Jackson, I wonder how women voters will feel about Tester's opposition to the first-ever woman nominated to lead the CIA?
