An as-yet-unidentified 57-year-old Billings man was killed in a rollover accident on Interstate 90 in Jefferson County late Sunday.  The Montana Highway Patrol reports the man lost control of a Jeep Cherokee when a rear tire “failed” while traveling east on the interstate west of Cardwell just before 3 p.m.  KTVQ.com reports the Jeep went across the median and overturned in the westbound lane.

The passenger in the Jeep, an unidentified 72-year-old man also from Billings, was injured in the crash.  Both men were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.  Their names have not been released.
