The Gazette reports two men were hospitalized after a head-on collision between two pickup trucks south of Billings on Sunday afternoon. The driver of a Ford F-150 reportedly had to be extricated at the scene of the accident by emergency personnel from Blue Creek Volunteer Fire Department. The crash occurred near mile marker 9 on Blue Creek Road. He was airlifted to St. Vincent Healthcare, according to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremy Lundblad, who said the other driver, described as a middle-aged man from Yellowstone County, was also taken to St. Vincent. The unidentified man who was extricated from the smaller pickup appeared to have two broken legs, but Blue Creek Fire Chief Rick Cortez declined to provide additional information about his condition. Alcohol is suspected to have been a factor in the crash. Read more at; billingsgazette.com.
