Thirteen people stranded in Montana’s Bob Marshall Wilderness remained in a spot near Gibson Dam overnight, with rescue operations to resume today. Captain Brent Colbert of the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office said helicopter rescuers from Whitefish will fly in first thing this morning in hopes of rescuing the group. Searchers were called at about 8 p.m., and were told that the group was on the wrong side of the river and couldn’t cross because of high water. A woman was rescued near Hauser Dam, stuck in an unfamiliar location. She was not injured.
