Republican Congressional candidate Greg Gianforte was campaigning for votes in Montana’s largest city on Monday.  Gianforte spoke with supporters at the Billings Heights Stadium Club, where he said if his supporters turn out on Thursday, Republicans can take Montana’s one and only seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.  In November, Yellowstone County went big for President Donald Trump and former GOP Congressman– now Trump Administration Interior Secretary– Ryan Zinke.  KTVQ.com reports Gianforte won Yellowstone County, but his margin of victory was less than one percent.

He said yesterday he’s got a really strong volunteer base in Yellowstone County, and that they’re making phone calls and knocking on doors because we need more business experience in Washington D.C.  The Yellowstone County GOP gave Gianforte a $900 campaign check.  Democratic candidate Rob Quist will be campaigning in Billings today.
