According to reports from the Billings Gazette a fire has started at the CHS oil refinery in Laurel, Montana. Emergency response teams are in place and responding to the fire. A refinery official says that the fire began around 8:00 am this morning.

The official also explained that the fire began at diesel hydrotreating unit and is responsible for putting up an excessive amount of smoke at this time. All employees have been evacuated and no injuries have been reported at this time.
