Additional Information

With generous support from their fabulous slate of sponsors,  St. John’s welcomes thousands of folks for free evenings of song and dance on five Thursday nights throughout the summer!

The Summer Concert Series has come a long way from its humble beginnings in 1997 with a  modest attendance of fewer than 100 fans. With 20 seasons under our belt, it is not unusual to have 2,000 fans gathered to enjoy one of our concerts during the season, with season attendance around 10,000.

July 12: High Country Cowboys with opener Pierre & Kristin Lave

Born and raised in Montana where the cowboy spirit is still alive, the three brothers, John, Joe, and Marty realized a desire to bring back the good old western music from the days of Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and the silver screen cowboys. For eight years they’ve been working on their harmony trying to simulate the sound and appearance of the Western Music groups of that time. They played for the first time for a public audience in 2013, and have since been playing regularly at the Pollard Hotel in Red Lodge. With two guitars, an upright bass, and three part western harmony, their traditional sound has been compared to The Sons of the Pioneers and Marty Robbins. They are now currently members of the Western Music association.
