The Granite County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the man who was killed in a one vehicle accident Monday morning near Beavertail Hill.

Sheriff Scott Dunkerson's office said the victim was identified as 28 year-old Micheal Conley of Clinton.

Investigating Highway Patrol Trooper Jake Parks said the accident was called in at about 1 p.m. on Monday, but had occurred earlier in the day before it was discovered,

"The vehicle was southbound on Moose River Road on a left hand curve when the driver drifted off the right side of the road and then overturned down an embankment," Parks said. "There was just one occupant in the vehicle and he was unrestrained and was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries."

Parks said the vehicle rolled about 150 feet down and 200 feet out on the embankment before coming to rest on an abandoned logging road.
