Q2 reports some speakers at the Billings Chamber of Commerce’s annual luncheon on Tuesday reminded folks that hope is not a sufficient strategy to sustain the future of Billings, but planning and perseverance will be required. Chamber President and CEO John Brewer told the gathering at the Billings Hotel that the One Big Sky project, developing the convention center, downtown living and the medical corridor are very important to Billings’ future. He also noted the importance of this as a legislative year, and the chamber plans to lobby again for local option sales tax authority.
