Cascade Prison Damage Report

The July riot at the Cascade County Detention Center caused over $22,000 in damage, according to court documents. Inmates broke sprinklers, cell doors, ceiling tiles, cameras, and covered vents to stop pepper spray from being released, according to a combination of witness interviews and about 20 minutes of video captured before surveillance cameras were broken.
