Byam Road in Laurel is Flooding!
At about noon on Saturday, March 8th a call came into authorities saying that water was coming up in the ditch near Byam Road in Laurel.Laurel resident Elliott Grayson said that about 30 minutes later water was gushing down along side of his home. This reminds me of the storm and flooding of last September in Billings!
At 12:30 p.m. the Grayson home was under water. More than two feet of water inside his home and more outside of his home. Byam Road in Laurel is partially shut down due to the flooding and the American Red Cross has set up a temporary shelter located at the old Laurel Middle School at 410 Montana Avenue in Laurel.
Reports say that residents of the Byam Road area and surrounding homes have all been evacuated safely. With the warm weekend temperatures, flooding like the Byam Road neighborhood of Laurel is imminent, much like Livingston has been experiencing.
