Billings Public Schools have lifted the alternate bus route schedule and will return to normal routes starting Friday, January 25. BPS had alternate routes in effect since the first round of heavy snow hit Yellowstone County on Monday and extended the routes when a second winter storm dropped another six inches on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service reported a total of sixteen inches of snow fell in Yellowstone Country since Monday and another inch may fall on Friday before warming up into the 40s over the weekend.

N.W.S. is alerting motorists traveling through Livingston who have high-profile vehicles to consider delaying travel or to find an alternate route. High winds are expected with gusts of up to 60mph on Saturday and Sunday.
