Billings Police have made an arrest in connection with the robbery at Valley Federal Credit Union Wednesday.  39-year-old David Lee Brown Jr. has been charged with felony robbery with weapons enhancement and felony tampering with evidence.  Billings police responded to the Valley Federal Credit Union just after 2:30 Wednesday afternoon for a report of a robbery.
Brown reportedly entered the credit union, showed a gun, and told an employee to fill the bag and (quote) no bait.  The employee gave Brown over $2,700 in cash.  Police tracked Brown to his residence and found a $20 bill in his car matching a “bait bill” serial number provided by the credit union.

Brown admitted to law enforcement he owed money for drugs.  Police located a black sweatshirt and camouflage face mask in Brown’s trash.  Brown’s wife was in the car. She wasn’t sure, but believed he had just robbed the bank.
