Q2 reports the vacancy on the Billings City Council was filled Monday night by applicant Roy Neese. He was selected to fill the seat in Ward 2, vacated by Larry Brewster in late November. Eight applicants submitted their resumes after Brewster announced he was stepping down. Neese is a business consultant involved in the Billings Heights Community Development Task Force. Among the eight applicants were former Montana Senate candidate Jennifer Merecki and Roger Gravgaard, who has served as chair of the Heights Task Force and chairman of the Billings Chamber of Commerce agriculture committee.
