Bad TV Products Bought in Billings

We have all seen them. Especially on late night TV. Those dang infomercials and products that don't ever seem to work.

I have to admit that I have come really close to buying a thing or two just because they have a way of selling things to make them look like we just can't live without them.

Obviously, that's the trick. "We are going to show you this pile of crap and make you think it's the next best thing since sliced bread. Just give us your credit card number and everything will be just fine...for us."

It's actually kind of funny. Some of the things I have seen advertised on TV I have seen in our Billings Heights Walmart in their "As Seen On TV" section. Believe you me, seeing some of these things in person is an eye opening experience on how much these things can suck.

I bring this up because I talked with my mom over the weekend. She saw something that she absolutely had to have and ordered it special delivery. Something that was going to make her slicing and dicing a wiz. She got her Slap Chop and sure enough, used it only a couple of times before the whole thing fell apart. She is not a happy customer.

So now I ask my Billings' friends. Have you ever ordered one of these TV products and if so, what was the end result?
