Archery Hunting Sept. 1

The archery hunting season for deer and elk opens on September 1st, and preparations have begun across Montana. Outdoor sports stores in Helena say they’ve been seeing strong business as archery hunters started coming in around mid-July, but hunting in smoky contditions due to wildfires could be a health factor. The general hunting season begins October 20th.
