AG Backs Tax Hike Language

Montana Attorney General Tim Fox’s office on Monday endorsed the language of a ballot measure raising cigarette taxes. The final decision on the challenge to Initiative 185 by an opposition group, Montanans Against Tax Hikes, goes to the Montana Supreme Court, which will look at the description of what the cigarette tax hike would fund.
